Gripper Options
With the exception of the Smooth inner / Smooth outer (25A / 12A)
Grippers are Shore A25 for inner gripper and A18 for outer.

Durometer Shore hardness is the measure of how resistant materials are to indentation. A Shore hardness scale was created so people can have a point of reference to compare different materials, such as soft rubbers, rigid plastics, gels, and other non-metallic materials. The scale looks at how resistant these materials are to indentation, which can also be thought of as how flexible the materials are. The higher the number, the harder the material

Using the graphic, determine your choice.
The most comfortable is smooth inner / smooth outer. That comfort comes at the price of less gripper holding at higher pressures.
Smooth inner / Smooth outer (25A / 12A) is a popular choice for balloon use.
Valve options:
Acetal "plastic" valves are suitable for inflation, tugging and weights up to 1 pound. Although they are durable, Don't take the chance with heavier weights.
Metal valves are more expensive and removes the worry of accidental failure.
